Ianto Ware:

On Patrol For Rock and Roll

This is my Official Ianto Ware Homepage. Accept no spurious imitations.

Welcome to my homepage. My name is Ianto Ware. I am a 22 year old student, currently living in Adelaide South Australia, where I am doing a Phd in English at Adelaide uni. I am also a shock trooper on patrol for rock and roll, in a highly ironical sense.

Why not read more about me in My Biographical Details

Anyone from Melbourne reading this keep an eye out for the Chimp Frenzy zine anthology lift out in an upcoming issue of Beat. The first issue of Westside Angst is featured within. Fuckin' A! I'm working on the formatting for issue three: "the overtly personal issue I'll regret later on", right now. Email me about zine trades, cause I'm usually willing. I might make a Westside Angst specific site sometime in the future, as soon as I can get hold of a HTML editor.

Upcoming Hardy Coxon news: We'll be going on a one stop high speed low quality tour of the river land in the next week or two. Keep an eye out for our upcoming CD-R as well.

You can buy stuff I've made at these places

Livinghood Distro: This is a zine distro run by my friend Bonnie. So far it's still in it's infancy, but Bonnie's pure class should see it thriving pretty soon.

Moon Rocket Distro: Plenty slick New Zealand distro run by Moira who made Space zine.

Smitten Kitten: An excellent Australian distro that carries my shonky zine Westside Angst.

Echo Distro: A USA distro that stocks some fine Australian zines, as well as some other good stuff including Tight Pants and Truckstop zines.

I'd also have a link here for Pinstripe, but there's no website for it yet. Pinstripe is run by my champ of a friend Jo. Visit the pinstripe store at the Glebe or whatever the fuck it's called markets when ever you're in Sydney.

Shame File Mail Order: Distributing my shonky French Extreme Noise tape, and also a place to obtain a great many rockin' tapes, zines and CD's.

People

Grand Whitney Central: Read anti Titanic poetry, play the Jaded Online Teen Drinking Game and enjoy many a cruel laugh.

Russell Baxter: A world of juvinile amusement. Laugh both with and at the people who revolve around a possibly fictional man who lives in a bus. Inparticular laugh at Alfred and his amazing beard.

General Tomfoolery

Henry Thomas: aka Elliot from ET. A webpage devoted to his stalking. Oh man that brings back memories.

A Cure For Record Store Amnesia: Run by a friend of mine.

Smog: My favourite band.

33 rules for being an indie rock boy and another 33 for being an indie rock girl. From which I took cruel amusement. And then realized I fit half the critera.

Outpost: Their drummer gave me a free CD.

Other stuff relating to me

The Ianto Ware Spottings Page: Devoted to stalking me. I put this website on my resume.

My old Flat Stanley page: In its heyday this was the primary source for stalking members of local band Flat Stanley. I don't update it anymore. Not there's much to update it with.

Email me at: kanbara@senet.com.au My new email address. The old one, which I've had since I was 16, is no longer useable cause Asia Online was run by a bunch of gimps. I liked the fact they sent me an email 36 hours before they shut down the accounts of everyone who used them telling me I owed them money. Via email they sent this. The same email they were about to shut down. Oh the irony.

That's about all. Now here's a picture of me:

This is a photo of me looking highly bemused at the prospect of having photographed myself. Lately I've heard stories of people being shocked to hear that I was doing a Phd, and of other people being shocked to hear that I really like the band Motorhead. Perhaps, looking at the face I was pulling in this photo, I am beginning to understand why they thought such things outside my character.
