Animus Elvis Recorded in 1995 by Grant "The Captain" Sullivan, mixed by Wayne Connolly. Includes I Grew Old, Haze ,Tank Girl and Stars. Incidentally the reason these descriptions are so short and crap is that I write them while listening to the song in the mistaken belief that this will make my descriptions more insightful or something:

I grew old

I grew old keeping my distance. It's what I allowed myself to do. A simply story of persistance something about you I never.Never thought I'd be suspended.Everything keeping me from you.My indecision never ended. Something about you I never knew. I was afraid for my position if I thought about wanting you. You never heard my great admission becauseI never had the guts to see it through. That was the day I didn't wait. The day that freed me from my doubt. That was the day it didn't matter who we were. It didn't matter who we were. And I never knew that it could be like that. I never knew that it could be like that.

This is a great Flat Stanley song and I wish they'd play it live more often. It's fast and frentic and catchy and all. It's probably one of the best Flat Stanley songs, outclassing alot of the new stuff in many aspects. It's lively and clever and the kind of thing that should get Dancin' Guy going.

Tank Girl

Fast and bitey start with strong rhythem and innovative geetary sounds. Kind a thumpy. Can't make out many of the words in enough succession to make them worth writing. A very steady and. ya. Thumpy sort of song I guess is the best description. Makes good use of the two geetars, probably one of the first songs to do this real well that I've heard

Stars

It's a good song but doesn't leave me feeling any different. Again it's kind of fast with a jangly geetar beginning. Isn't making great use of the dual geetar. The lyrics are sung pretty well. I mean not technically well, not like That Dog or something. They just come across as being a very memoriable feature.
